Nurturing school culture – AMCIS ceo Tory Gillingham writes for SMP magazine

“When teaching and non-teaching colleagues collaborate to nurture school culture, the potential for meaningful promotional work is far greater”.

AMCIS ceo Tory Gillingham writes for the autumn edition of School Management Plus magazine on the importance of recognising the interplay between school culture and school marketing and communications.

Tory says that: “Now is the time to remind ourselves of exactly what we mean by ‘school culture’ and undertake a healthy reappraisal of whether we are ‘getting it right’ for the times we live in.” (see p.35)

The magazine also carries an extensive article on establishing a positive school culture, by Michael Bond, who is head of AMCIS member school Brentwood School (see p27).
