AMCIS CEO to Retire in 2025

At the AMCIS 2024 Annual Conference, Chair David Milner announced that AMCIS CEO, Tory Gillingham, has decided to stand down next year, at which point she will have been with AMCIS for 21 years.

Tory has been instrumental in developing AMCIS into the friendly, supportive membership association it is today with a growing number of over 580 school members. We will be very sorry to see her go, but completely understand her desire to hand on the baton and take more time for herself and her family.

Tory will be leaving AMCIS in a very strong position for her successor and we will begin the recruitment process for a new CEO in due course; in the meantime we look forward to continuing to work with Tory for another year.

Tory Gillingham said:

“There’s a whole year and plenty of work to do before I leave – not least one more AMCIS Annual Conference – so it’s not yet time for me to be making ‘goodbye’ statements. Right now it’s still ‘business as usual’ and I’m looking forward to another year of working with and for our members, alongside the talented AMCIS team – Lucy, Melissa, Rachel and Sarah – and our exceptionally strong AMCIS Board.”
