Senior Admissions Officer

The Admissions team is responsible for ensuring that pupils enjoy a smooth introduction to life at Canford.  The Senior Admissions Officer will liaise with colleagues, prospective parents, pupils, feeder schools and other external agencies and be involved in the administration of entrance and scholarship testing events.  The postholder will assist in the administration of familiarisation days and personal visits as well as attending key Admissions events such as Open Day.

The successful candidate must be an experienced administrator with excellent IT and interpersonal skills.  An approachable and unflappable manner is essential, as is a flexible approach to work.  Preferred candidates will be those with experience of the independent schools sector and the Admissions process.

Working 37½ hrs per week (including occasional evenings and Saturdays), this role is not term time only.
