Registrar role – AMCIS advertisement

“Quite simply a remarkable school.” (Parent)

An exciting opportunity has opened for a dynamic Registrar to join one of Hampshire’s highest achieving schools. Ballard is a thriving school, set in 34 acres, situated on the Hampshire / Dorset border, in between the New Forest and Solent. Ballard offers an inclusive working environment with exceptional facilities, including a Performing Arts Centre and an Olympic Astro. There are also excellent transport links.

There are exciting changes taking place at Ballard, with a new ambitious Leadership Team in place moving the School forward with confidence. We are already seeing excellent results, a significant increase in pupil roll and growing enquiries from prospective parents across all age groups. Ballard’s academic reputation is growing and we now have waiting lists in many of our year groups.

Our Marketing & Admissions department has been fully involved in this growth and continues to go from strength to strength. Our ideal candidate will already be a Registrar, or a strong sales person who has previous experience of working in a complex, busy service-driven environment. They will relish a challenge, show initiative, be flexible and excellent at meeting deadlines. We are looking for someone who is very personable and polite, diplomatic and discreet, a strong team player who is able to listen yet feel confident to make suggestions and take the lead. Our successful applicant will be professional, capable and positive, with a good sense of humour. Excellent ICT, written and verbal skills are essential alongside a great eye for detail. Database experience, e.g. SIMS would be helpful.

Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience.
