The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to use your creativity and initiative to play a key role in the marketing and communications for a prominent independent day school based in the heart of Oxford.

You will be responsible for planning and executing marketing plans across the whole school, through digital and traditional channels, as well as advertising, promoting and engaging the school via a variety of different platforms such as events, campaigns and social media.

Additionally, you will have ownership of communications channels such as the school’s website and regular newsletters to current and prospective parents. You will liaise with local media for press coverage and collaborate with Admissions to ensure a joined-up approach to the customer experience. You will also work closely with teaching staff and the senior leadership team to provide marketing and communications support for key activities in both the Oxford High School Prep and Senior School.

The ideal candidate for this role will be professional with strong strategic and organisational skills and understand the exceptional qualities of an Oxford High School education.

Experience in a similar role, with a flair for producing marketing materials and the ability to manage budgets and negotiate with suppliers is essential. You will also possess initiative and creativity with a capacity to identify school news stories and generate content across multiple platforms.
