Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity now exists for a marketing professional to be part of the next step in the school’s journey to raise its profile as one of the UK’s leading lights in providing a modern, holistic approach to education.

Working closely with the Headmaster, Bursar and Registrar, all school staff and the Board of Governors, the Marketing Manager will progress and implement plans across all communication channels to strengthen its position locally, nationally and internationally. You will lead on all areas of marketing including brand management, the development of a new website, advertising, PR, social
media, internal and external communications, print and digital communications.

To be successful, you will preferably be experienced in schools’ marketing and have a strong understanding of the competitive independent school market. You will have a proven track record of achievement in a marketing environment, with experience of strategy development and delivering on plans. As the role is responsible for a small team (Marketing Assistant and Digital Communications Officer – both currently part time) you will require line management experience and be equally comfortable advising senior management. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are critical. You will be sympathetic to the Christian values of the school.

Salary: In the region of £35,000 negotiable, depending on experience.

Start date: ASAP. Ideally by September 1st.
