Head of Marketing and Communications

To start January 2022

St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students, teachers and support staff alike.

Reporting to the Director of Development and Communications, the Head of Communications & Marketing will be responsible for developing and delivering outstanding communications and public relations results. The post holder will foster excellent relationships, both internally and externally, and will work in close liaison with senior teaching staff throughout the school, as well as closely supporting the Development, Admissions, Engagement and Partnerships teams.

With two direct reports, the post will have a 360-degree view of all activities at the School and will ensure consistency and brand alliance across the junior and senior schools. We are seeking an experienced, creative, senior marketing and communications professional to conceptualise, execute and drive campaigns both on and off-line.

This is a full time post with an excellent salary and benefits package, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Further details and an application form can be obtained from the School’s website: www.stpaulsschool.org.uk via the ‘Work with us’ link, or by email from the HR department: recruitment@stpaulsschool.org.uk.

The closing date for all applications is 9am on Friday 5th November 2021. Interviews will take place during the week commencing 8th November 2021.

St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Juniors are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employer and the Disclosure and Barring Service. St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Juniors are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive educational environment.
