Head of Marketing

Hoe Bridge is a thriving independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 16. As Hoe Bridge School enters the most exciting phase in the school’s history with the onset of the new senior school, the school is looking to appoint an experienced and digitally focused Head of Marketing. Recognising the pressing need for an independent senior school in Woking, Hoe Bridge Senior School has been established ensuring that local children benefit from the outstanding education on offer from the school in preparation for GCSE and their choice of further education or career. From this year, pupils in or joining Year 6 and below will be able to stay with us until Year 11.

With the exciting launch of the senior school, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, digitally focused Head of Marketing to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational leader committed to growth to drive the school’s brand as Woking’s Only Independent Through School and in addition continue the development of our holiday camp business, Hoe Bridge Camps. Working collaboratively alongside a dedicated and energetic team, the role encompasses the management and leadership of all aspects of the school’s marketing. The position will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short and long-term marketing strategies. Candidates must be committed to growth and have the ability to market the three departments of Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior. They must be prepared to go over and above with the launch of Woking’s First Independent Senior School.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The school may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants and all applicants will be required to provide details of their online profile, including social media accounts, as part of their application. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

Required Start Date: September 1, 2023
