Hoe Bridge is a thriving independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 16. As the school enters the most exciting phase in its history with the opening of the new senior school, Hoe Bridge is looking to appoint an energetic, dynamic and forward thinking Head of Admissions to join our team. The Head of Admissions will provide the vital function in the school’s recruitment of pupils, strengthening, establishing and managing relationships with families and supporting the admissions process.

Recognising the pressing need for an independent senior school in Woking, Hoe Bridge Senior School has been established ensuring that local children benefit from the outstanding education on offer from the school in preparation for GCSE and their choice of further education or career. From this year, pupils in or joining Year 6 and below will be able to stay with us until Year 11. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational leader to develop and enhance our admissions process. The ideal candidate is someone who is service-oriented and ensures the best possible parent experience is offered at every stage throughout the admissions process. Candidates must be committed to growth and have the ability to drive admissions across the three departments of Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior. They must be prepared to go over and above with the launch of Woking’s only independent through school. Working collaboratively alongside a dedicated and energetic team, the role encompasses the management and leadership of all aspects of the school’s admissions and scholarships, directing the admissions process from enquiry through to joining. The position will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short and long-term recruitment strategies alongside the Head of Marketing and Head of Communication and Development to ensure student attraction, recruitment and retention for the school.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The school may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants and all applicants will be required to provide details of their online profile, including social media accounts, as part of their application. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
