Founded in 1646, Reading Blue Coat is a leading independent day school of circa 800 pupils from ages 11 to 18. The School is located on a beautiful 46-acre campus in the village of Sonning, just outside Reading.

The School employs more than 180 staff, of whom 50% are academic staff, and provides a stimulating, friendly and supportive atmosphere in which each pupil can realise his or her full intellectual, physical, and creative potential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing and communications professional with exceptional skills in establishing robust relationships and networks and communication to lead our external relations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for marketing the School, developing and delivering our external communications and sustain high demand for places from talented and committed young people.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful team leadership, be adept at leveraging diverse skill sets to accomplish objectives and be able to demonstrate extensive leadership experience in external relations.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday as well as additional hours after school and on weekends for delivery of events.
