Digital Communications Officer

Part-time: 29 hours a week, 52 weeks per year

Up to £25,197 FTE depending on skills and experience

Focussing on engaging our communities, the Digital Communications Officer will play a key role in the recruitment and retention of pupils and parents through digital storytelling and media channel management. With the PR and Content Manager you will be responsible for the ongoing development of College’s online presence through our social media and digital communications platforms.

You should have at least two years’ experience in a digital communications role, be educated to degree-level (or a similar professional level), and have an empathy with the values of College. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual with a positive attitude, an eye for detail and an ability to tailor content to specific audiences.  You will form part of a team of Marketing and Communications professionals, including an on-staff Photographer, within the wider External Relations Department.

The position is part-time, 29 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. It is anticipated that the 29 hours will be worked over 4 to 5 days. Other working patterns may be considered if details are included in your application; however, working on a Friday is essential.

College offers its employees a number of benefits: a pleasant working environment, supportive colleagues, subsidised gym membership, generous fee remission for the daughters of staff and access to our pension scheme.

Salary: Up to £25,197 FTE depending on skills and experience.

Closing date: Thursday 20th April 2023

Interview date: Friday 5th May 2023

Applications will be considered as they are received and College reserves the right to appoint at any time in the process.
