Admissions Registrar (Maternity Cover)

The appointed candidate must bring energy and initiative to this role, using their outstanding organisational, IT and interpersonal skills to maintain the department’s current success.

Qualifications/Professional Development

  • Degree level education or equivalent work experience
  • Evidence of recent involvement in professional development

Skills and experience

  • A sound understanding of the admissions process of a Prep school
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of computer literacy. Confidence using Google applications is desirable
  • Experience using iSAMS would be an advantage
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks
  • An eye for detail and accuracy
  • A solid understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations to safely manage personal information

A school application form, together with a supporting letter, should be addressed to the Headmaster, Mr Noel Neeson, and returned to, by 9am on Thursday 29th February 2024.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 7th March 2024.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview, will be given a computer-based task, and will have a tour the school on the day.

All applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including online searches, checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). All posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

At interview applicants must provide original documents to confirm their identity and right to work in the UK. They must also bring proof of qualifications where relevant for the post.
