Admissions Manager

Founded in 1646, Reading Blue Coat is a leading independent day school of 820 pupils; 719 boys aged 11 – 18 and a further 101 girls in the co-educational sixth form. The School is located on a beautiful 46 acre campus in the village of Sonning, just outside Reading.

The School employs more than 200 staff, of whom 50% are academic staff, and provides a stimulating, friendly and supportive atmosphere in which each pupil can realise his or her full intellectual, physical, and creative potential.

We are looking for an experienced, welcoming and professional Admissions Manager, preferably with independent schools experience to join our team.

In this role, you will organise and deliver open events assessment days, new student events and associated activities throughout the School year, as well as co-ordinating appointments and tours for prospective families, processing applications, liaising with feeder schools and dealing with parent queries.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, a confident, warm and welcoming manner, as well as an interest in education and working with young people.

This is a full-time role, typically working 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, all year round.
