Marketing Manager

Cheltenham College Prep School is often referred to as ‘the country Prep School in the town’ and is the largest Prep School in Cheltenham. Based close to the centre of the town on a large and green campus, the Prep School has over 420 day and boarding girls and boys from 3 to 13 years old.

We are seeking an ambitious, creative, and professional Marketing Manager to drive our pupil recruitment and who has proven experience in delivering results and effective communications for a premium brand.

The Marketing Manager is central to presenting what makes the Prep School so special, and delivers this through the planning and preparation of marketing and communications activities for current and prospective UK and international families. The postholder should be confident to work independently; able to build strong relationships with staff and pupils; and be a flexible and committed team player with a sense of humour.

Marketing Manager

We are seeking a marketing professional with excellent administrative and organisational skills to work with our Director of Communications & Marketing in the position of Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will have an active role in all aspects of the school’s communications with its stakeholders, including current and prospective parents, past pupils and past parents. The role is diverse and varied: from content creation for social media, the website, digital and printed newsletters, to photography, design, maintaining databases and being responsive to parents and colleagues.

An important feature of the role is the ability to multi-task and get involved in the daily life of a busy boarding school.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break for 39 weeks per year (34 term time weeks and 5 weeks in the school holidays). Working hours during term-time will be completed between 8am and 6pm in line with the requirements of the school. A degree of working flexibly will be considered for the right applicant.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Marketing Manager to join our busy Admissions & Marketing Department. Marketing Manager

MTM are a market research agency specialising in the independent education sector. Most of our work is in supporting fee-charging schools throughout the world to recruit more children, but as the business grows we are increasingly working with Nurseries and Multi-Academy Trusts. We offer a full suite of market research services including customer satisfaction surveys, non-joiners and our unique 3-60 catchment analysis and lifestyle profiling tool. In order to ensure our continued growth, we are looking to employ a Marketing Manager with experience of a marketing and/or admissions role within the independent education sector. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and supported by the Marketing Officer, duties will include
− Taking ownership of the MTM market strategy
− Manage the internal marketing team and external subcontractors as required

− Support and design the MTM presence at industry events
