Admissions Assistant

We are looking for a professional administrator with exceptional organisational skills and experience working in a sales environment to join our Admissions Team. The post holder will form the backbone of the Admissions team by ensuring processes run smoothly and enquiries and communications are followed up in a timely manner, all the way through to enrolment.

Reporting to the Senior Registrar, the post-holder will maintain an efficient and timely admissions process responding to enquiries and signposting queries professionally. The Admissions Assistant will be part of a team coordinating events and open days and will work with other team members to ensure the admissions experience including face-to-face, on the phone and via email serves the needs of prospective families and meets the needs of the department.

You will be required to communicate with prospective parents, students, intermediaries, education agents and other key stakeholders throughout the admissions process. There will be a need for occasional attendance at events and recruitment fairs.
This is a Full Time Position which demands a flexible approach to hours.

International Admissions Registrar

Are you passionate about education and relish the challenge of recruiting talented international students for one of the UKs leading all-girls’ schools? We are looking for an International Admissions Registrar to join our Admissions and Marketing team to attract students from around the world. You will be responsible for international student recruitment and managing and reporting on the international admissions process.

The purpose of this role is:
To implement a cohesive and proactive recruitment strategy, with the aim of achieving a full boarding entry of high-quality international students across all relevant year groups (currently Years 7-13). To manage relationships with agents and attend key recruitment events and ensure an efficient admissions process from enquiry to conversion. You will develop strong relationships with prospective parents, students, intermediaries, education agents and other key stakeholders throughout the admissions process. There will be a need for some international travel and attendance at conferences and recruitment fairs.

Prep Marketing Officer

We are seeking a disruptor in the marketing profession who is keen to evolve new ideas and drive Millfield Prep School’s marketing strategies forward.

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning independent school marketing team as Prep Marketing Officer. Responsible for the Prep School’s social media presence, website content, print advertising, and the event management of Open Days, reporting to the Head of Marketing and working with a large and unique team of eight, who have a diverse range of skills.

We are seeking an individual who is ambitious and hungry to drive forward marketing practices, keeps a close eye on new trends in the marketing landscape and aspires to lead the way in independent school marketing in the UK. Salary: £26,775 FTE, £18,378 pro rata

Hours: 30 per week, term-time only + 2 weeks

Content and Communications Officer

This is a very exciting time to join the marketing team at King’s College, Taunton. We have an ambitious new strategy and bold new plans to step-change how we engage with our existing and new audiences. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role will be instrumental in uncovering the stories of the King’s Schools, planning the most impactful way to tell them, and leading the creation and sharing of content through the right channels at the right time.

You will be passionate about creating engaging and audience-focused content, with original ideas and a keen eye for opportunity, and experience across a range of channels and formats (including knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and photography and video skills). Alongside that you’ll be a strong copywriter, as at home in writing a press release as creating posts for social media. You’ll be confident in supporting the school’s website development, using analytics and data to understand and interpret performance, and happy to take ownership of the school’s e-communications schedule. Your collaborative, proactive and flexible way of working will mean that you’re able to work closely with internal teams and colleagues to draw out and manage a continuous flow of news, content, stories and ideas.

We have a vacancy for a full time, full year Admissions Manager at Downside School. This is a newly created role to expand the Admissions, Marketing and Commercial Enterprises team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the application process of pupil admissions.

The Admissions Manager will work closely with the Director of Admissions, Marketing & Commercial Enterprises to deliver a fair and transparent admission process. Supported by an Admissions Officer, the Admissions Manager will oversee the co-ordination of the Schools admissions to ensure pupil recruitment targets are met.

The post holder will have line management responsibility for the Admissions Officer.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with prospective parents, pupils, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT skills and fully competent in using MS Office.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise your workload with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of office administration systems with the ability to develop both computerised and manual systems to deliver at pace and with accuracy.
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent professional experience, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to support events outside of normal working hours (time off in lieu will be given).
  • Experience as an Admissions Manager is desirable

Director of Admissions and Marketing

Wells Cathedral School is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and manage this key department within the School. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate creativity and skill to develop and deliver all aspects of our admissions, marketing and communication.

The Director of Admissions and Marketing has responsibility for the successful recruitment of pupils throughout the School (2-18) and for the implementation of a strategic marketing plan. The post-holder will work across both the Senior and Prep Schools and focus on the recruitment of pupils who will flourish in, and contribute positively to, the academic, pastoral, musical and co-curricular life of the School.

Given the role’s primary focus, this role will ideally suit an experienced admissions and pupil recruitment professional; any marketing or communications experience they can additionally offer will be valuable, as will any experience of an educational, and ideally an independent education sector, background.
